Year 2 - project 3 pt 1
For this two week short project we were asked to create a book which reflected our feeling for being on the course. As my interests are in wood work and furniture I attempted to create a book made from this material.
The image below shows the first design. This book was a wooden covered, paper pages book with a coptic stitch spine.
The image below shows my final design. Two off cuts of wood were trimmed and sanded . Then the pages were made from thin ply wood. The images were then transferred onto the ply wood by using iron on transfer paper.
